Robstock II My Journey Part VIII

Thursday night after the premier, after the movie, after Rob, surviving Rob, we went back to the hotel, and I for one just crashed and passed out. It was so over whelming. None of us were looking forward to Friday.
Friday meant Robstock II was over, and we would have to say goodbye.

Weeks before, we had arranged for Nikola6 to meet us for breakfast before some of the NB’s had to leave that day. She so wanted to meet these women, and we all wanted to meet her! Dessert and I already had plans with Nik for that day & evening.
Unfortunately, good old LA traffic interceded and she was running so late, she was not able to make breakfast. We still went and tried to savor our time together as much as we could; but all good things come to an end.

I don’t remember who left first. I just remember us standing in the lobby, crying, hugging, and saying good-bye. Nik did show up and was able to meet some of the NB’s. I will tell you that saying good-bye to them was one of the hardest things to do. These were my sisters, and none of us knew when we would be together again. But we definitely will. MD!!!!

So off to the next adventure!
Dessert was staying until Sunday, and I was staying till Saturday, and Nik had this brilliant idea to get us a room at the famous Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. On her. Her treat. Are you kidding me? Nope, she was not kidding. We had also arranged to meet up with the lovely Loisada and have a Rob party of our own.

The Chateau goes back to the days of Hollywood where the Richard Burtons and Elizabeth Taylors stayed. Movie stars would often live there for a month or two. They had their love affairs there. John Belushi died there. It’s infamous…Rob and Kristen have stayed there several times. Remember the photographs of them from the balcony, or on the patio? Remember Rob eating on the patio? Remember the morning after the 2009 MTV movie awards? But, I’m getting ahead of myself…and no…we did not expect Rob and Kristen to be there. Nik just wanted to show us a side that most people never get to see.

We all hopped in Nik’s car and headed out to Piru, Ca which is one of the filming sites for Water For Elephants. (the other was Filmore). We met up with Loisada there, who is fearless! We hopped into her car and she had no problem saying, hey let’s try this road! We drove by the front of the set first and noticed a few cars parked across the street with fans waiting, hoping to get a glimpse. We drove around to the back, and got as close we could, without being on private property. There were also a few fans in the back as well.

It was AMAZING!!! The tents, the trains, the CIRCUS!!! I wish we’d have thought to bring binoculars!!! It was about 100* and just blazing hot. We just stood and stared, shared stories; got to know each other. Enjoying being together. You talk to people on line and form these bonds…but meeting them in person…the bonds just grow stronger.

After a while paparazzi started showing up…so we knew Rob must have arrived. Turns out, he’d just gotten there. It’s about 2:00 or 3:00 by now. The pap rats were trying to get photos, walking around, trying to be sneaky. I took a pic of one of them. Security came and told us we had to cross the street because we were on private property. Thank god Loisada had a couple of camp chairs in her car, because I was back to having cankles again! I was so burned by this time my feet were purple and my cankles were in full bloom. Hello! You lived in LA your entire adult life and didn’t bring sunscreen? Yep, that’s me.

Nik & Loisada went and bought us lunch and brought it back to Dessert & I. A couple of other fans showed up.
I immediately spotted Rob walking across the set. I’d know that walk anywhere. Hands in pockets, head down, long legs and log stride. I took tons of photos, but on my crappy little camera you can just see a dot…but that dot is Rob. He waived in our direction. The girls next to us had binoculars and confirmed it was indeed Rob. ( I knew that). We couldn’t see the filming, but we could hear all the clapping and cheering going on under the big top!
I think all in all we stayed out there about 3 or 4 hrs. Being that he didn’t get there till 3:00, we knew it would be a long day and night before he left, so we packed up and left and drove back to Hollywood.
Dessert & Nik went and stocked up on adult beverages and we headed into the Chateau!! What an amazing place this is. Just old Hollywood glamour, cool, and boy do they treat you like Queens!!!
Nik went to check us in and discovered a lovely surprise. We had been upgraded to a Bungalow…the best you can get! The place is to die for. Beautiful rooms, right near the pool, a secluded hideaway behind the bamboo trees. To quote Nik “ I wanna live here!”

Our plan that night was to drink, talk, watch Remember Me, and just have a Rob party. We did about ½ of that, as I was exhausted and I think went to bed at 11:00. Big partier!
Nik had made a reservation for us to have brunch on the patio on Saturday. I can’t believe she did all of this for us! We had brunch at 10:00. We weren’t seated more than 10 min. and in walks Xavier Samual (Riley) with his girlfriend. He sat at the table right next to us. This is a safe haven for celebrities. They’re not to be bothered or photographed, so we ignored..Sort of. There were some sideways glances!
The brunch was awesome, great food and service. Well duh!
Right as we were getting ready to leave, in walks Cameron Diaz & ARod. I am not star struck (only for Rob) so I really could care less, but it was still cool all the same.
Time for more good-byes at this point. Loisada had to get back to her family. She is such a lovely intelligent person and I so enjoyed meeting her and ROBsessing! Loisada was standing downstairs waiting for her car, right next to Adrian Brody!
Nik drove Dessert & I back to the hotel, where more good-byes were looming. It was time for me to go.
We drove down Sunset and Nik pointed out Rob’s In N Out, where he used to sit in his car and read scripts. (He read Remember Me there). You know I had to take a photo of that!

Saying good bye to Nik and Dessert was harsh as well. I’d spent an entire week with Dessert, and could hardly bare to leave her.

And Nik, what can I say? She’s my soul sister on so many levels. She knows why….and I love her to death.

Would I ever do this again? You bet your ARSE I would, in a heartbeat!!! It was worth every bit of pain (I had lots) and no sleep. Best of all was Rob, and my new BFF’s for life.
My advice for anyone thinking of doing this; Go for it. It’s the best time ever! (Are you listening JC?)
Having not camped out for Twilight and New Moon in Westwood, I have nothing to compare this experience with. From what I heard and have read, this sucked compared to the first two. I don’t care, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Would I do anything differently? Yes. I would and will speak to Rob next time. I will tell him what his movies mean to me. I will tell him what he means to me. I won’t ask him to dump Kstew and run away with this old lady, but I’ll think it all the same.
Thanks for reading! MD! MD! London calling!

Robstock II, My Journey Part VII

Whew!!!! Rob has moved on. He's all the way across the black carpet now being interviewed. It looked like he did not have has much time to spend with the fans on that side, and seemed like he walked pretty fast and was waving at people.

We all just stood in our same spots, I think stunned. I think CL hugged me because I was still crying. Lindsay was a wreck, poor baby.

After everyone cleared off the carpet, the security folks started coming into our area. I really was not paying attention to them or to what they were doing...we were just standing there, trying to hold on to our moment. A security guy came up and grabbed my hand and asked how many people I had in my group. I told him 12. He said "12? I can't do 12" and walked away. WTF was that all about? I had no idea...

All of a sudden, CL was talking about tickets into the premier, and she and everyone else went into high gear and was asking for 2. Telling everyone, ask for 2. I think I just stood there, once again, like a dumb ass! Somehow, some way, we ended up with all 12 of us having tickets. To go see the movie. Eclipse. With the cast. With Rob. In the same building. Oh. My. Fucking. God.

We were hugging, laughing crying. Manifest Destiny!!! That's our motto!!! We clung to those tickets for dear life. We all held hands, held on to each other, and started moving, following a massive crowd of people. Security shouting directions to us. We're moving, we're waiting our turn...we can't believe this happening.

Long line, but we get to the door, and have to go through security checks. No cameras, no phones. We have to turn them in, and pick them up after the movie. CL has her amazing Rob poster, and the fucker at the door would not let her bring it in to the movie. Rob SIGNED the poster, no way she's giving it up. We were pleading. He would not budge! I think she ripped the signature off.....then someone else told her just leave it at the door and get it after. I honestly don't think she got it back, but she got his signature.

Madness inside. The theater is blinking the lights to tell everyone the movie is getting ready to start.

NOOOOO!!! We are still trying to fill out the forms and turn our phones in. Then we have to get an elevator!!!! Some of us separated, I found my way upstairs and got my seat....No words to how big this theater is. It holds 70000 people!!!!

Not all the fans got in. More on that later...

We were all spread out, but some of us were sitting together. The theater explodes then as here comes Rob and the cast. Everyone is standing, screaming, clapping. Rob's whole family was there, Kristen's parents were there, David Slade...everyone.

I think my heart is jumping out of my chest. Twi is sitting next to me. Movie starts...and I am dumbfounded. I swear it was over in 5 minutes.

Lots of screaming and moaning throughout the movie. I missed a lot of dialogue. Twi was grabbing my knew during the meadow, the bedroom.

It was over, and everyone stood and gave Mr Slade a standing ovation. We never saw Rob.

During the movie, Twi (who snuck her phone in) was trying to find out how to get into the cast party.

When the movie was over...it took like 1.5 hours of standing in yet another line of utter madness to get our phones and cameras back. I think they lost either Laci or Lindsay's. Lindsay's phone was either stolen or lost on the black carpet.

Somehow we all met up together outside, but Lindsay was just a wreck at this point.

We quickly walked over to where the cast party was, but we couldn't get in.

This is what we missed!!!

Photobucket

It was over....I don't know how we made it through this in one piece, but we did.

It's time for bed as I think it's midnight or later.....

Here's what we all took issue with. Summit told us YOU HAVE TO CAMP. We went without sleep for DAYS. We stood in every line, sometimes up to 6 hours, because we had to, and because we wanted to follow the rules, and get the prize at the end, which is Rob.

Not everyone followed the rules. They didn't camp. People literally came on the last day and got wristbands that we lost blood sweat and tears to get. And guess what? Those people got time with Rob. They got into the movie. Some even got into the cast party. I'm not saying they didn't deserve to be there...but why would they have the same access or opportunity that we did? There were TONS of fans who camped, followed the rules, and stood in all the lines, and slept on the cement and got burned to a crisp in the blistering sun, that did not get close to Rob. Did not get into the movie. That is a tragedy. That is NOT fair. So yeah, we have a problem with those folks. That's all I'm going to say about it.

There's more...we still have the sad goodbyes on Friday, and then the adventures of me, Dessert, Nik & Loisada at the WFE set and the Chateau Marmont....stay tuned!

Robstock II, My Journey Part VI

Rob's on the carpet....nerves are FRAZZLED...WAITING, WAITING, WAITING. I'm not sure who the person was at the front of the black carpet that was announcing the arrivals and getting the first interview, but he clearly said Robert Patterson is here...The crowd went NUTS. PATTINSON!!!! He corrected himself quickly.

I still can not see him....there's 100 people to my left, and that's where Rob is coming from, and all I can see is a SEA of heads leaning over the barricade to get a look.

Annie sees him first, and says he has on a maroon coat. Maroon? WTF? Pretty soon, all the girls to my left can see him, but not me. CL keeps saying "See, he's right there, can you see his hair"? NOOOOOO I can't! I can only see HEADS!!! CL is giving me a play by play of what he's doing...signing, pics, cross over, interviews, pics...he's moving towards us now. It feels like 10 hours......

Here's my first view..

I am shaking. I am dying. I need a drink. I need a pill....I need Rob to get in front of me NOW....my camera battery is blinking, it's about to go dead, my IPHONE has 1 bar.

Fuck. My. Life.

Finally, he's down by Annie, Woms, MP & Laci....holy shit...I can see him now...

I know CL described the suit on him...and she said it perfectly. He looked magnificent in that suit. And, OMFG, he's feet, in those shiny black shoes are HUGE.

He was signing anything, everything, he was giving hugs, he was taking pics with fans. Fans who could speak....

He's close now....so close. I'm ready with my 1 bar and my blinking camera...I'm a fucking dumb ass as I have my zoom on....

Right before he got to my area, he was pulled away to go to interviews right across from us. Stephanie is standing right in front of me, and I asked her to PLEASE bring him back, and she promised she would try. And she did, bless her!

He's talking to CL at this point, something about her Remember Me program, he's surprised she was there....I'm next.......

Zoom is STILL on...

He's right in front of me, and he's speaking to me....I don't know what he said..

He giggles, and I am frozen. I have entered an alternate universe where I can not hear, I can not think, I can not function. I have become a blooming IDIOT.

I did not say hello. I shoved my book at him, which he signed...HIS HANDS???? FINGERS???? Right there....I wanted to lick them....

SPEAK TO HIM YOU MORONIC MUTE!!!! I couldn't. I started crying. At that point, everyone who was behind me shoved me into the rails, and flung their arms with books, magazines and posters right over my head, and shoved me down even lower, and Rob was reaching over me to sign their stuff....then he moved to my right...where Dessert was waiting...

Someone shoved a magazine over my head again and ruined this shot. But I could hear he & Dessert talking. You see, she could speak. She told him she brought hob-nobs and he was like "Really?" Des asked if he wanted them, and he laughed, and said "No".
LMAO...Dessert was so cute, she said to me "Why did I say that?" It was adorable. And she spoke to him.

By this time, he's in front of Lindsay and Ang. Lindsay asked for a pic, he said yes, and her camera froze. She was devastated. Ang got a pic with him. By now, I'm still crying, and now Lindsay is crying.

Back to Rob in a minute....

At some point during this time, Kris and Taylor are moving towards us. Rob, Kris and Taylor are getting their pics taken together. I have some from the back....and then here comes Kris.

She is so beautiful and tiny...unbelievable..

I got Kristen's autograph as well, she is so sweet, I actually spoke to her.

By now, Rob has moved over to the right where he's doing all the KISS, Access Hollywood, ET and MTV interviews, and then he makes his way around to the other side...

There really are NO WORDS to describe. I hate to steal from Stephanie Meyer, but he DAZZLES you. CL described him having an aura around him....he does. I literally could not speak, I just stared at him. My camera and phone both died after he moved away. God watches over idiots, and he let me get my couple of photos before all batteries died.

I was stunned. I still am, and it's been almost 2 weeks. I will never forget that moment, for the rest of my life.

Ok, there's more...but it will have to wait till tomorrow!

RobStock II, My Journey Part V

OMG, it's Thursday June 24th and its PREMIER DAY!!!!! I have
no idea how much any of us slept Thursday morning, I'm guessing no more than 4 or 5 hrs. Did we go to breakfast that day? I can't remember!!!!

We had to be back down to the Nokia around 1:00 that afternoon, to line up, once again, in order of our wrist bands. This was IT!! This was the line that leads to the corrals, that leads to Rob....we are dying at this point!!!

Once we got to Nokia we had to wait a while, so we went and chilled and took some cute pics of all of us....here's one of my shirt.....

Finally, it was time to line up, and of course, because security have no idea to form a line it was UTTER CHAOS!!! They wanted a single file, but we could not squeeze in....as all the TEACHERS in our group said, you have to have the people in the back, back up FIRST!!! Yes, people tried to cut, and security was not having it!

Finally in...and OMFG......we get FRONT ROW, up against the barricade, right across from all the cameras and news media!!!!

Here's where we were, hiding behind one of our posters!!!

It seemed to take forever, about 4 hrs I think, and the black carpet was under way. I know from my perspective, I was dying at this point. It was close to 100*, the sun was in our faces the whole time...we were burning up. We had umbrellas to keep some of the sun off. The people behind us complained, but we assured them we would take them down when it started. My foot had swelled up so bad, at this time, I had cankles..Hi Rob, so glad you can't see my feet!

We were interviewed a lot during this time. Showtime, The Tonight show, and a bunch of others I can't remember. We did a dumb skit with Ross from The Tonight Show, but it was fun.....the nerves were building, big time....

Finally it started, and celebs started coming in slowly..most of them I did not know...TV shows that I don't watch...young kids....some looking like hoochie girls!

I;m just going to post pics, and then I'll get to Rob...

As you will see...I have no wolf pack....I have some Kellan pics, but I swear they've poofed from my PC...if I find, I will post....

Ok, the excitement is building....We've been told Rob is here, and everyone is screaming bloody murder...we can't see him yet, as he has hopped out of his car and has run accross the street to sign & take photos with the people in the bleachers...

To be continued...tomorrow...heheheeeeee....

Robstock II, My Journey Part IV

Ok, we're up to Wednesday now. We had instructions from Summit that we had to be packed up and ready to move at 6:00AM....UGH!!! They needed us to move so they could begin setting up for the Black Carpet Premier.

It was supposed to be an organized move, moving us to same way they moved us in, but it did not go that way. Summit had put up barricades in the street, in between The Staples Center & Nokia. We were told we would have more room in our new camp. Uhhhh, yea, that was not the case. Our new camp was way smaller, AND it was soaking wet! We brought this up and security said there was a leak, nothing they could do. It's been 95* during each day that we are there, so we figured it would dry up and we would be fine. WRONG!

We decided not to worry about, we only had one more night until the Black Carpet & Rob...and it was another scorcher that day...

That morning Tinsel Korey came to tent city and she was nice enough to pose for pics and sign autographs. I did get a pic with her, but I look like such a hag with my burger king crown on, I just don't have the heart to post it!

This day turned out to be amazing! There was a rumor going around that Peter Facinelli was coming down to tent city and that he would be working Alex's lemonade stand. Everyone took off and got in this huge line to wait for him. I didn't, I think I just sort of wandered around. After a very long time, I went back to our camp. Pretty soon everyone else did as well.

Soon, we were treated with a visit from Peter, Billy Burke & Charlie Brewley!! They were so awesome! And holy shit sooo good looking! Peter and I had met before, so I was really excited to meet Charlie and Billy. Many of the girls got great pics with both of them..I didn't. I just stood there again, like a mental mute!

They passed out gifts, and food and Billy passed out his CD. I didn't get one though, once again too short & too slow!!! I had nothing for them to autograph because I didn't know anyone was coming, so I had Billy sign my burger king Eclipse crown. He said "Really?" but he signed it anyway. Yes, I'm a dork.

Peter also came into tent city and sat down in campers areas (not ours, but right across). He seriously loves his fans!

Wednesday night we just sort of chilled. We went out and ate in shifts, and settled down for our last night in camp, and tried to get some sleep. HA!! We were so wrong, again!!!

It was noisy (as always) and bright (as always) and we got woken up from screams and music...one of the wolf boys came to visit around midnight and brought his band, right in front of our area! ARGH!!! A couple of the girls went and got photos..I think it was Kiowa Gordon. I could care less!!!

A while later, the girls on the ground and in the tents woke up soaking WET. The leak was back. At this point, it was 2:00 in the morning, and we were DONE! We had to be up and packed once again by 6:00AM to clear out of camp for the premier, so we just said fuck it, packed up and left. It was the first night we got to sleep in beds. It was heaven!!!

We had to be back at Nokia by 1:00 to line up for the premier!

Ok, we're getting close to Rob time...I promise.....Part V will be up either later tonight or tomorrow!

Robstock II-MyJourney Part III

Tuesday June 21 we all had tickets to go see Sam Bradley in concert at the Hotel Cafe!

TwiCougar was so awesome she got us a great deal on a limo. This way we didn't have to worry about having to drive, find it, park, and we could drink and just relax. We had no idea that the limo we got was a huge stretch disco limo!! We had quite a good time in the limo. ModestyPatch brought us treats. We each got sparkle peens that we could dip in chocolate, and our skewers had pics of Rob!

Some of us got a little smashed that night, but I will protect their privacy!!

Sams show was amazing as always. He's a great entertainer and constantly interacts with the audience. We had hoped a little friend would be there, and we think he was, but hiding in the back.

For many of the girls not only was it the first time seeing Sam, it was also the first time hearing his music. Believe me, he got new fans for life that night!

About 1/2 way through the show, I kept looking at the back of these 2 blondes that were in front of me, trying to figure out where I knew them from. After a few minutes I realized who they were...Lizzie & Victoria Pattinson!!! Right in front of us!!! I know, they're his sisters, not him, but it was still exciting, and like seeing a little part of Rob. After the show I went and asked them if it was ok if I got a picture of them, and they said yes of course. I know we got critizied for this, but they are grown ass women who could have said no, and they were more than happy. They took pics with a lot of people. I don't want to post the one with me because MP & Laci are also in it, but I'll post one with a stranger in it!

After the show all we went out back as Sam was signing and taking pics with everyone. I didn't do it because I had met him before and had his pics. After a while, the sisters came out, and they and Sam went across the street to another bar...I will leave out the rest of that story as it's not mine to tell!

Our limo picked us up and we went back to tent city. It was a great night!! While we were at Sams, they had shown New Moon on the jumbo tron to all the campers, but we missed that.

Most of us got sleep that night, we were exhausted. I know I slept on the ground that night, but I didn't care, I was tried and would have slept in the loo if I had to!

One thing I've not addressed is going to the bathroom and charging our phones. Most of us used Starbucks and the Ritz. Starbucks got nasty and put up a sign that their bathroom was for customers only and no Twihards were allowed! That was insuslting as most of us (campers) purchased food & drinks in their store. They were really nasty about it, so we stopped going there. I made friends with a reporter at the ESPN and he would let me come sit with him and charge my phone. There were also lamp posts and trees that had outlets in them, so we could also use those to charge our phones. For showers, we took turns going back to the hotel in groups. The hotel was about 4 blocks away, not a bad walk, except for my gimpy leg.

One night we were walking to the hotel in the middle of the night, and this bum started throwing food at us, and then spitting at us!! Woms was walking slow with me, and she was like "walk faster Terri"!

Ok, we're up to Wednesday now, the day they moved us into "Damp Camp".

Stay tuned for part 4!

Sunday, July 4, 2010

Robstock II My Journey Part II (part 1 below)

Pretty close to 6:00AM Summit started breaking up the line into groups so that we could go in and get our wristbands. Thank GOD it was not what we expected, which was just the gates of hell opening and a sea of people running. They were very organized the way they did it. We were lucky enough to keep our group together!

Almost forgot...even though it was controlled in groups, when the first group got to go in, all of a sudden the entire back end of the line (over 500 people) jumped out of line and starting running up the road to get up to the front..are you fucking kidding me? Like you're going to get in front of other people? Security shut that down real quick!

We went in and stood in another line and got out wristbands! I think we were 48-60...I was #56, which pretty much guaranteed we would be in the front for the black carpet!

Once in, they had us start setting up our tents in tent city. We were in the 2nd row from the front, right behind Twifans. Very small space, we could only put up two tents. I will say that all the campers around us were so nice!

Here's a lovely photo of me. I'm all hagged out, pretty much how I looked the whole time!

Thank God for Twi because she had purchased all the chairs, sleeping bags and all kinds of other goodies for us! She saved us all from having to get that stuff down there. She parked in the garage across the street so it was easy to bring stuff down.
We spent the day getting our camp ready, and waiting for Ang, Wens & Eclipse7 to arrive.

The rules were; we had to camp. We could leave tent city in shifts, but if we missed too many wrist band checks, you were out. We had to be very creative in leaving tent city, and in getting out other 3 NB's their wristbands. We also found out that we could leave for up to 5 hrs and be ok.

I swear I don't remember much of that day, because at this point I had been up since 6:30 Sunday morning, and it's now Monday afternoon...dessert hadn't slept yet either. Some of us went back to the hotel where we collected Ang, Wens & Eclipse7..I have no recollection of who, when or where!

That night, most of us went out for drinks at the Rockin Fish. It was right in the Nokia...there's great pics of us, I wish I could post them! Anyway, we had a blast, got pretty tipsy and just enjoyed being together. I know Modesty & I tried their famous drink...I think was a grog, or something like that....very powerful & yummy drink!

The first night was rough..we were so tired, excited, and could not sleep!!! The Nokia is like Las Vegas at night...lights everywhere, jumbo trons blasting commercials, and the ECLIPSE trailer over over. They don't shut off until 2:00AM. Sleep was nearly impossible. Many of us tried to sleep in chairs.

I know one night, Cullenlover fell asleep tweeting!! Her thumb was still posed to tweet and someone took a pic of her, it's hysterical!!

Oh, we also had laker fans, and drunk WorldCup people there wandering around after 2:00. They were screaming at us "She dies at the end of the movie" "Twilight Sucks". That was fun!

On Tuesday morning (I still have not slept yet) we woke up to a paparazzi taking pics and filming us sleeping. Luckily security was there and kicked him out.

Tues is a blur. I know we got interviewed a lot by various venues. ReelzChannel, EWonline interviewed Ang. ReelzChannel did the thing when we had our Poof shirts on and just had us scream. They were all dying to know what Poof stood for, but we wouldn't tell!

At some point maybe Wednesday, a British guys asked to interview us. We made him say durt & natchos!

That night was Sams concert, and the meeting of The Sisters.....that will be in Part III.

Stay tuned!

Robstock II-My Journey-Part 1

I'm not sure where to start as so much happened between 6/20 and 6/26! I will say that my version might be slightly different than the other 11 NB's because we weren't together 24 hrs a day, and different people had different experiences and had different things happen..

Plus, the whole week is such a blur to me...especially once Rob stepped on the black carpet...I swear he dazzled me to the point of amnesia!

We all have tons and tons of photos of the whole week, but many do not want their photos on the web, so out of respect for them, I won't post them.

I arrived on Sunday 6/20 after a 2 day, 16.5 hr drive. I was nervous, exhausted, but full of raw energy. CullenLover, Annie, Woms, Modesty, Lindsay and Laci were already in LA when I arrived, and we met up at the Subway next door to hotel. It was BEYOND amazing meeting these amazing women in person. I felt like we'd known each other for years, and honestly, I felt like I was meeting my sisters for the first time.

Dessert was to arrive that night, as well as stuff4ang, but Ang had a huge snafu with the airlines, and her plane was delayed until Monday. That's when we were also expecting Wensdazzled & Eclipse 7.

We hung out for a while in the "party or Robporn" room. We had fun getting to know each other, and decorating the room with posters of Rob.

We then walked down to the Nokia theater which would become our home for the next 3 and 1/2 days.

We went back to hotel that night to wait for desserts arrival!!! She finally got there (have no concept of time) and she is just lovely!! Des was exhausted from her long flight, so we told her to go grab a few hours sleep and we planned to come get her in a few hours when it was time for the line up at 6:00AM.

Well, things changed pretty rapidly at that point. We went back down to Nokia to see if we could find out where we were supposed to line up at 6:00AM. Summit was very specific, no line up before 6AM on Monday, and we couldn't be in the area after 1:00AM. We walked around and Lindsay was just determined to get info. She worked it! She started talking to different LA Live security people to see if she could get some info. Each one told a different story. There were already people lined up about a block away, as that's what they were told by LA Live. No one knew anything!! It was very frustrating. By this time, TwiCougar was there and she was also trying to get info. At that point we went back to hotel and woke up poor dessert. She only got 2 hrs of sleep after all.

We went back down to Nokia again, I think it's around mid-night, 1:00 by then...all of a sudden, we see this line forming next to the LA Film Festival garage, so we hopped in line.

We were told at this point it was the "unofficial" line. We had no idea at the time if we were in the right spot, but all of a sudden tons of people started showing up. So much for Summit's rules. They should have known better.

There were about 28 people in front of us, and we immediately let our neighbors know we had 3 more people coming. Long story short, it was the official line, and because Summit had no security there at this point, all hell broke loose. People were cheating, line cutting, and no one except for one Twi-Dad who acted like a know it all was there to control it. It got pretty nasty there for a while. We took photos of the people in front of us, then watched that grow from 28 to 50. There were a couple of girls who cut in front and REFUSED to leave. It got ugly.

The ironic thing is, we didn't plan this, we just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and got in the right line. There were tweets going out from certain people that we were all "cheaters" because we got in line before Summit said we could. The funny thing is, the person accusing us of that, was tweeting from the LINE. Just pissed off that they were so far back. Karma is a bitch sometimes.

Anyway, Summit folks finally showed up around 4:00 and got some control. I don't know how many hours we were in line. It was cold, none of us had been to bed yet, and we were squished. I think it was between 4-5 hours total.

Sorry this is already so long...this is only the first night!
